Former Walton Hospital site in Chesterfield undergoes transformation
The former Walton Hospital site in Chesterfield has been transformed into 103 residential units for affordable rent, shared owenship and market rent.
The scheme for Vistry/Linden Homes and Countryside Partnership comprises 2-4 bedroom luxury houses.
MHA Associate Director, Gavin Welch said, "This scheme started on site during the Covid lockdown so adaptations were made to keep the scheme on track with remote working and Teams design team meetings based on a strong working relationship with the development team who came together to look at the various design options and to establish the best solutions. The strong design was fully accepted and understood by the contractor so as any improvements were made, these did not detract from the original design."
