We have been involved with Citylabs since 2010 through our work for the project anchor tenant Icon Development Solutions. The overall scheme was developed on a speculative basis, as a centre dedicated to medical and scientific research.
We were appointed by Icon to develop their £4.5m 3,500m² translational medicine unit including 52 bed clinical trials unit incorporating Aseptic Suite for the manufacture and assembly of controlled drugs, clinical pathology labs and PK labs suite, Hitachi Big Data Hub and Molecular biology labs.
Following completion of this project, MHA has been engaged by the Developer-Landlord, Manchester Science Parks, as part of their specialist fit-out Design Team to translate incoming tenants’ highly specialised requirements into facilities which are perfectly tailored to suit them.
